This is my first post on this forum. I have a question for this group. My travel agent here in Southern California, is trying to book me in Business Class on Air India on the LAX-FRA-BOM route, for a trip I have to make to India later this year. Has anyone flown this route and/or in Business class on AI? I am curious about what to expect, etc.
Personally I am looking for a way out of flying Air India due to an experience where I flew CDG to DEL in 99 and swore to never fly AI again due to the horrible experience. Apparently as much as we swear, sometimes we have to take back our words or something . . .
In any case any thoughts, experiences, etc. would be most appreciated!

I have never yet flown on AI but as far as i heard their service is improving by the day check out some trip reports in the forum.
On this route they are using the aircrafts leased from SQ so i think there isnt a worry about the AC also i think it comes equipped with PTVs so u could be well entertained in this route and besides you are flying business class; so why worry.
