Hi. I am looking to get to Burlington,VT with my gf mid feb. I usually drive the 10.5 hrs, but would rather fly. We both have passports, so if its cheaper we're willing to fly into YUL as well. Does anyone have any suggestions? MHT and ALB are about 4 hrs, and BOS is about 6. Feb 20-27 2013.
Maybe it will be cheaper to just drive, but I wanted to make sure I have all options flight wise, and searched a few flights, but was looking at A.net for additonal help.

Fares from CLE-BTV are in the $371 range on DL, UA and US. WN from CLE-MHT is $398 and CLE-YUL range from $542-604 on everyone flying the route including AC.
Fares may go down a bit after the holidays, but February is a popular and busy time due to skiing in VT and Quebec. A tough drive and a bit tough on the wallet at these prices.
I've driven from MHT to BTV......about 3+ hours on interstate highway but may be a tougher ride in winter due to potential weather conditions. On that trip I saved a bunch of money flying WN to MHT in lieu of flying into BTV, but as you can see above, the WN fare is actually higher so re-think MHT as an alternate due to fare and drive involved. WN is famous for fare sales, but I doubt fares will drop below $300 per person so figure above fares in your budget now.
Good Luck with your plans,
Thomas

Looking at CAK, I see that fares are about $380 for CAK-YUL, $450 for CAK-BTV, although only $280 for CAK-MHT (compared to $380 from CLE)
If you are desperate to go from CLE specifically (which I assuming you're not given the word "area") then CLE-ALB at $310 is probably the best bet. I haven;t driven from Albany to Burlington, but Google Maps is showing it to only be 15 mins longer than MHT.
Given that PIT is only about 90 minutes away, I can find PIT-BTV for $260. This obviously the cheapest option yet, and the drive at the PIT end is shorter than the MHT/ALB end. Just an idea...
I'm taking my gf up to VT in a couple of weeks, but in the end we decided to fly to BOS. When we were looking, the price was so much lower than BTV/MHT/ALB that it became a no brainer. I considered flying to NYC and driving from there (which would have been cheaper still) but the drive would be almost double the time so I ruled it out as an option.

Thanks for the suggestions. I was born and rasied about an hour north of BTV and always drove home to see my family, but I wanted to look at flying options.
