I am travelling around the world a lot. I am keeping track of all my flights as a passenger in a private “flight log” – about the same as I do as a pilot. To find out registrations is more or less easy today with digital cameras. You almost always find some spot at the gate to catch a look to your airplane, you do a “digital shoot” to the registration and / or name of the aircraft, zoom in and have the details for the log...
This was not that easy in the - what I call the “older times”. It was especially very difficult at nighttime etc. etc...
I have to admit, that I even lost some details due to personal stupidity. Example: I cross the Atlantic on duty - fly back home straight away as a passenger – come home more or less “dead” – fall asleep. When I wake up, my loved one has already cleaned my laundry – including the boarding pass with all my notes of registrations, flight times, and so on and so on. I think most of you understand, what I mean...
Anyhow, I am missing some registrations and other details in my “passenger-flight-log”:
You see: no more missing items since 2003 - though I did more than 1000 flights as a passenger since. This is when I bought my first digital camera...
Here are my questions / requests:
Is anybody able to help me the direct way, meaning: Does anybody here on this forum know any details of the flights listed above?
Is anybody able to give me hints were to look for the flights listed above? Not easy – I know, this was before “flightradar24” (Could as well be interesting for other members of this forum with similar problems).
Thank you everybody, who is able to share some details of his old archives / knowledge with me. And – as it is Christmastime – I am ready to send you some typical Austrian sweets (“Mozartkugeln”), or whatever you wish, if you have useful data for me,

While I can't help you with any data, I know that there are people here on the board who have access to all kinds of databases, sometimes even going back decades. I hope that somebody will be able to help you.
Since this type of thread seems to pop up every other week, maybe we could bundle all these (older) request in this one thread? Maybe not to find out yesterday's reg on your PHL-BOS shuttle, but those older, harder cases from the 90s and before.
I'll start by adding some requests of my own:
1987-FEB-23 Hapag-Lloyd HAJ-FUE (flight #, reg # and times?)
1991-JUN-29 Lufthansa LH537 UIO-BOG-CCS-FRA (reg # and times?)
1993-JUL-15: Lufthansa LH537 BOG-CCS-FRA (reg # and times?)
1993-AUG-09: Lufthansa LH430 FRA-ORD (reg # and times?)
1993-DEC-17 Ladeco UC301 GYE-SCL (reg # and times? Reg was probably CC-CHC but not sure)
1994-JAN-06 Ladeco UC056 PMC-SCL (reg # and times?)
1994-JAN-07 Ladeco UC300 SCL-GYE (reg # and times? Reg was probably CC-CHC but not sure)
1994-JUL-18 TAME LH537 UIO-BOG (reg # and times?)
1994-JUL-18 Lufthansa LH537 BOG-FRA (reg # and times?)
1994-JUL-19 Lufthansa LH076 FRA-HAJ (reg # and times?)
All the things you probably hate about travelling are warm reminders that I'm home

Likewise I'm curious if anyone has access to info on Capitol Airlines and Trans International charters in the late 1970s. I assume all that info went into the dumpsters 30 years ago. More recently how about BGR-FFD, American Trans Air L-1011 on 1994-05-30. I saw spotters photographing the landing at FFD and the plane sat there for several days. I wouldn't mind knowing at least which L-1011 version it was... I couldn't tell the difference back then.

Falcon, earlier this year or maybe last year there was a thread here about old flights from/to somewhere in Austria or Switzerland. There was a guy who new someone who had access to old flight logs at one particular airport. I couldn't find the thread now, but maybe someone else remembers it too?
This website is very useful for flights within the USA:
PS..sorry click on "archive movements" and flow the instructions/page/year etc you need ....Good luck!
I can't believe it. I was born in August 1992 and had my first flight ever 11 days later in the same month, and thought I could finally get details on my first ever flight. And the site is missing August 1992, and post-1965 it is only missing 3 months!
Note: I do realize they don't have every flight, so it was likely to be missing anyway, but that initial disappointment was not very nice!

Quoting n729pa (Reply 10): sorry you're disappointed I can understand that, sod's law it's missing the one month you really want. I don't know why there are the odd gaps, but have you tried the "website contact" tab?
It might be worth a try, just in case they have only a very incomplete record and didn't display it for some reason, worth a chance asking.
What was the flight in question you were trying to find?
Not sure about the flight number.
It was The SAS flight from OSL landing in early afternoon 2-4 (or as close to this as possible) on August 19th, 1992.
