United Booking Class P - Mileage Question

A question regarding United's Business Class booking class P - I was booked on routing ZRH-EWR-MEX in July this year and was surprised I didn't get any miles credited into my Miles & More account. After claiming the miles I received a response that this booking class is not eligible for any miles credit, at least for Miles & More. My return flight was with LH routing MEX-FRA-ZRH, though in Economy.

My question is, is this correct that a business class ticket in P doesn't yield any miles? A bit of research in the web revealed inconsistent replies, some people apparently managed to get miles credited and some not. I called United already but they said its a Miles & More matter.

Interesting info, it does not restrict the mileage credit to a certain time period which I have seen on other pages. Somewhere it said booking class P miles could only be earned from September 1st, 2012 onwards.

I will contact M&M again and see if I can get someone on the phone to explain the situation.
