Hi fellow Anetters, can anyone confirm what type was operated as UA1737 EWR-IAH today Dec. 11? I cancelled my res. this morning because some places on the website said 777 and others said 787 (same goes for tomorrow too.) Trying to get a sense of which section of the website is credible. No-one at United, besides the crew I'm sure and I cannot contact them, can confirm. FYI - I was only going to fly if Dreamliner. I have same res. for tomorrow and same conflicts persist on the site. Thinking of just going and seeing what it is with my own eyes then board or not depending on what I see.

It was operated by a 777, according to UA's website. The IAH-EWR-IAH routes are currently scheduled to be operated by a 777 on the 12th and 13th as well.

Thank you. The website is so messed up. For example, if you do a flight search for say Dec 12 it says it's 787; yet if you check flight status for same it says 777. Thank you.

I wasn't too familiar with their status page until I started keeping tabs on their 787s last week but it's been reliable for me thus far and coincides with what's reported first-hand by people on flyertalk and is seen on flightaware/FR24.
Plenty of substitutions still going on and ship 306 hasn't been in service since going tech at IAH on Saturday.
