United 145 Diversion?

Hi!


So UA 145 diverted yesterday to IAH. I just have a few questions.

- Anyone know why it diverted?
- Why would you divert to IAH when ORD/CLE/EWR were far closer?

They probably had an issue that precluded ETOPS operation but didn't endanger overland operations and had a spare in IAH. I note they were only on the ground in IAH for 2 1/2 hours.

Interestingly, it seems that the flight was diverted to IAH twp days in a row. Same issue? Perhaps the sa,e aircraft havingng the issue occur twice?
