What's Going On At DFW This Morning?

Hi everyone,

My brother and his girlfriend are traveling on AA Flight 3410 from DFW to SGF (after connecting earlier from SEA). Their flight to SGF has left the gate, but has still not taken off.

I saw on weather.com that there was fog reported. Is it the fog, a general backup caused by the winter weather across the country over the past few days, or both, or something else?

Doubt it is related to fog as the visibility at DFW is currently reported as 5 miles.

The flight arrived in SGF about 40 minutes late. My brother told me they had to wait for their pilot to come from another aircraft.
