Hello all and Happy holidays!!

My mother and her friend took a trip to Europe in 1995 and she says she flew Aer Lingus from JFK to DUB and xame back on DL from FRA to JFK.

I know she was on a DL 767-300 from FRA, but does anybody know what EI was flying on the route to DUB? She claims it was a single-aisle (narrowbody). Was EI flying 707s to JFK at the time? Any help is greatly appreciated!!

Cheers from NY!

1995 or 1996? JFK to DUB?

The January 1995 OAG shows:

JFK-DUB 6:50pm-6:30am EI 104 Airbus A330 Daily

The October 1, 1996 OAG shows:

JFK-DUB 6:50pm-6:20am EI 104 Airbus A330 Daily

I know that leaves a big gap between the two dates and the are both from off-peak times... but I hope that may help.

I believe it would have been the A330-300 in 1995. Don't think EI used the 707 to JFK after the late 1970s or thereabouts.

Thanks everybody for the help! I didn't know EI had the a330s that early.
