I'll be flying VLY-CWL next week. This was booked to fly the D28, but sadly Citywing, previously Manx2, no longer contracts the operator that used that aircraft. Never mind!
From what I can tell, VLY has a bus stop within, or near, the car park. Is this true?
Arriva Wales operates a regular bus between Bangor and Holyhead. Per the timetable*, there's a stop entitled 'RAF Valley' (given the airport is a military facility with an commercial bit attached). Presumably this is what I will require?
Seems a silly question, but I thought I'd clarify.

James,
The bus services are quite infrequent and unreliable in Anglesey (the one stopping at the airport is once hourly). You could either take a taxi from Bangor station (4 miles, shouldn't cost too much), or take the 4A/4 that you mentioned. The bus stop at the airport is in the airport car park and you can't really miss it. I'd recommend a taxi though - always plenty waiting outside Bangor station.

Quoting Hywel (Reply 1): (the one stopping at the airport is once hourly).
Well, that doesn't sound all that bad if you have enough time available.

Once-hourly seems reasonable under the circumstances.

To VLY?! It's 19-mile trip from Bangor!

For the past few weeks it's been the same aircraft every day - Jetstream 31, G-EIGG
It's a shame - flown on them a few times, mainly between JER and GCI - but it's still a cool machine, especially for £19.95 all-in.

I deem that a bargain, and no shame at all - the JS31 is a very cool-looking aircraft. Not flown one myself, only a JS41.

It's certainly a bargain, and obviously likewise BLK-IOM which you can obtain from £19.95 one-way all-in aboard the very cool L4T.
Alas, I haven't yet flown the J41, although I have flown the J32.
