I'm considering an RTW trip this summer and am wondering about the future of "The Great Escapade" RTW ticket?

My concerns are that whilst AZ and SQ are both Star Alliance, VS isn't and it would make sense that it was included due to the SQ stake-holdings. With VS now under DL thumb, is this partnership going to dissolve? Would be such a shame as it offers some really good connectivity at a great price.
