BA High Life Entertainment System

I am flying to New York this February and have been checking out the entertainment systems on their website. However, it says that it is installed on 'most' of the long haul fleet. I was wondering if anyone knew if my flights will have it installed on it, flight numbers are 14/1/13 BA0117 and return 20/1/13 BA0182

Hi,

BA182 on the 20th Jan is currently scheduled for a 77F (RR Powered 4 class 777 G-YMMG through P) which are all fitted with Rockwell Collins' Total Entertainment System (TES). Ths system is BA's first generation AVOD so what is listed on BA.com will be available onboard as long as the system is working.

There are just 8 777s which do not have AVOD (GMIS 12 channel loop) these are G-ZZZA/B, G-VIIC/E/F/H/N/S. These aircraft are being upgraded to the new Thales IFE. G-VIIH is currently at Cardiff being upgraded.

I think he means 14th & 20th February, which i think is too far ahead to know which a/c will operate that route.

Have a look at http://www.thebasource.com/ , great information on seat plans, aircraft configuration.
As BAW217 said, there are only 8 B777 left with the old loop IFE system!
