95 Minute Connection In CLT

Hi,

I am looking to book flights to DAB from London next month, only 2 carriers are offering tickets, DL/KL/AF and US. US has by far thebetter schedule and price, but, this involves a connection in CLT of only 95 minutes. Is this enough time to clear immigration and customs??.

Whats your opinions on this

It should be. You'll want to use one of the security checkpoints toward the east (D/E) end of the terminal once you clear customs, as those tend to have shorter lines. The new E checkpoint is often totally empty.

When I flew LGW-CLT on US in November I was through immigration and customs in a matter of minutes. There was no queue and it was very easy. I think 95 minutes will be plenty.

I want to live in an old and converted 727...

I flew LGW-CLT-DCA (in Dec 2009)....immigratioon was slow. After 30 minute wait at immigration, they hadn't even finished getting the bags onto the carousel....serious slow work guys! Anyway, I had around 2.5 hours, so had plenty of time. 95 mins should be ok...make sure you get a seat near the front.
