Hi,
Just a quick one. I am flying out of LCY later today and had a look at the arrivals to see if my plane would arrive on time and noticed that the BA 8454 from AMS was being operated by a BAe 146. I thought this was weird because BA Cityflyer only operate E170 / E190 aircraft.
Then I went on to Flightstats.com and it showed being operated by Air Zambezi. Have BA wetleased a 146 to operate whilst aircraft are in maintenance or for some other reasons? It looks like two AMS rotations are being operated by the 146 today.
Just curious really as it seems a little strange!

That's a database error. The IATA code for Air Zambezi (ceased operations) was ZT, which is currently used by Titan Airways. The latter is a British charter airline operating, among other aircraft, two BAe 146s and an Avro RJ100 if Wikipedia is correct.
