Hi All,

After years of watching, have finally joined up. Planning first visit to US soil around mid year to Hawaii and was wondering what anyone thought was the best carrier to fly to there. Options are:

Korean Air
Air New Zealand
Air Pacific (Fiji Airlines)

Looking at cost and schedules, Hawaiian looks to be the winner. Happy to hear other peoples thoughts/suggestions.

Thanks in advance

The way I decide which carrier to fly is based on product offering and fares (is food and luggage included on which fares). If say JQ works out cheaper even with having to pay extra for luggage and a meal over a full service carrier like HA then I would go with JQ.

I went from Bali to HNL via Korean late last year in J, and it was pretty nice. It was around $4000 return.

Read Skytrax, Seat Garu and other reviews to get an idea of what people say about the airlines. I think a non-stop is usually the best option, with less chance of missing luggage. I think Qantas puts its flight numbers on Jetstar, so you only really have two non-stop choices. Bon voyage.

They do, BUT they also operate their own metal SYD-HNL so three airlines do operate SYD-HNL
