Hi,
I study Airport Design as part of my masters and I have an interesting assignment coming up. I need to do a terminal critique including terminal layout/room for expansion, access (also for the disabled), way finding (signage), find spots were queues can appear etc. etc. I loved Koh Samui airport, was there once in 2008 and would like to look into the airport and write about the fabulous experience. However, only my photos and those online will not be enough to do this. Unfortunately, satellite pictures on Google and Bing are both not very good. Neither did I find a single airport map except for this one (http://i.sayamatravel.com/images/thai/maps/big/samui%20airport.png) in Russian (?) which does not seem to be complete/very helpful.
Can anyone help me find data/pictures/maps?
Thanks,
WorldspotterPL

Have you tried to contact Bangkok Air directly and explain your case ?
If you are going to use any photos in your work you should make sure you get approval to use them for the intended purpose.
