Bose, Setting The Standard For IFE?

Is Bose becoming, or is, the Standard now for headset quality in First and Business Class for airlines around the globe?
I have owned a set for many years and noticed recently how much that they feature in airline websites as standard in First and Business classes.I how always found the quality worth the price for home use and travelling, wondering how many airlines worldwide now promote this product in their service?

They virtually give their products away in exchange for promotional consideration (as an example in the websites you mention).

So no its not a matter of airlines clamoring for a quality item, but instead it being a good business deal.

Bose hope obviously is consumers will continue to see their name, build brand affinity and thus generate more sales.

Bose is the company they are because of their marketing strategy, no if's, and's or but's. Their quality is mediocre at best in the home audio market. I dont know quite as much about their headset market but do know their noise cancelling aspect is mere industry standard for headphones at a third of the price while other companies like NC or PSB make comparable or even cheaper headsets with significantly higher sound quality. If the other companies were as well known, certainly their headsets would be offered as they are of significantly higher value.
