I Can't Non-rev To HAV. Best Other Option?

I'm Canadian and I work for Delta. I'm not able to ZED to HAV due to sanctions. I can fly to CUN, GCM, or NAS (the 3 closest to HAV, and I assume the cheapest) and then travel as a regular passenger to HAV. Which option would you suggest? What other options are possible? Many thanks for any help.

Nope! ZED has to be bought through Delta and then listed on AC. I already tried ZEDing on Cayman Airways through GCM. So it seems the only 'cost-effective' (read cheap) way is to get as close to HAV as possible and then buying a regular ticket on UP, AM, or KX out of NAS, CUN, or GCM respectively.

Get to CUN then book a flight with Cubana CUN-HAV-CUN . Something interesting too.

Yeah, that's my first choice. A Tupolev 204 would be a nice change from a 737.

I would suggest Mexico, Bahamas, Grand Cayman in that order....for budget reasons!

Your US-issued cc cannot be used with Cubana while while KX, UP, and AM probably won't have any problem.

FYI

Cant be sure but I thought they were using the A319 now ? I think on a FRI/SAT/SUN MEX-HAV is a T204 .

Cubana hasn't got 319s. They tend to use their A320s (LY-VEV, VEX, VEY, VEZ opb Avion Express) to Cancun though.

Someone must be operating for them then . As it clearly says in the CRS A319 . Take the 2nd March for instance.

Yes, that's true. Most probably it's LY-VEU, the only A319 of Avion Express. Right now it's still operating in Europe, but let's see...
