Hi, I am planning a trip to SIN in June, very first time.
Flying with SQ in the First Suite. I thought that Outbound SQ319 arriving 1600 would be a good time.
Inbound SQ308 departing 0930 6 days later.
my questions are, will the terminal be busy apon arrival, and is the morning departure going to be busy.
What kind of weather would be average that time of year.

TIA

Hi, be prepared for high temperatures (circa 30°C) and an average of 80% humidity. Changi airport is busy but it's so big and well designed that you won't feel any inconvenience. SQ operate their A380s from T3 which is the quietest IMHO. Also security check is made at the gates so no huge queues to go airside.
I was in Singapore last week and it's a very nice city to visit. I'm sure some fellow local members will be able to give you plenty of advices for your visit, but feel free to PM me if you want more info
Have fun !

As airtrainer says, daytime temperatures are 30-32˚C year round. The only variable is the humidity, which is either high or very high. Night time temps are in the high 20s. It may rain a bit during the afternoons.

Even at its busiest, Changi never seems crowded. If you have checked bags, they will arrive in the baggage claim area almost as quickly as you do. It's not unusual to be able to hop into a taxi within 15min of stepping off the aeroplane. If you're going to the city centre it will cost about S$30 and will take about 20min depending upon the traffic. Alternatively you can always take the subway (MRT). It's easy to use and reliable. For your return, check-in in T3 will be quick, especially since you will be in F. Security is at the gate, so no horrible queues.

Relax and have a good time.

Hi TIA

Congratulations on your first trip to Singapore.

First of all, SQ flights arriving and departing is from Terminal 3. At the moment, there is not much traffic at Terminal 3 due to small number of airlines using the terminal. SIN has really efficient immigration and usually it took only 20 minutes from deplaning to reach your taxi stand. Since you're flying F, it should be faster.

For your inbound SQ308, check-in and immigration should be quick as SQ has their dedicated premium check-in area and (probably) an allocated immigration desks for F passengers.

Should you need any other help in planning your trip to SIN, feel free to drop me a PM.
Hope you enjoy your trip to Singapore.

Regards,
Dirktraveller.

First of all, SQ flights arriving and departing is from Terminal 3.

I'm arriving from LHR to SIN on SQ in june, but I am going to transfer to another SQ flight bound for Ho Chi mInh. I belave the SGN flight is from terminal 2 ? So, apparently not all SQ flights depart from terminal 3. Apparently I have to change terminal for my SQ flight to SGN. I only have 1 hour 10 minutes. Will I have to og through Security in order to get to terminal 2 from 3 ? I am a bit concerned that it's not enough time...

All SQ A380s operate from T3, but some flights also operate from T2 indeed. No need to go through security between the terminals, just take the Airtrain and go to your gate. As long as your flight from LHR is on time, 1h10 should be fine. Have a nice trip !

security between the terminals

But since security is at the gate, you will go through security at the gate in T2.

Welcome to Singapura in advance

Just to point out, there is no arrival lounge but there is no shortage of dinning options in the airport or just about anywhere in Singapore

As the others have pointed out, Changi never gets too crowded. Doubt you'd face any queues there.

Upon departure, there is a special entrance in T3 you can use if you are departing in the Suites/First Class. It is just before the main concourse.

Feel free to drop me a message if you'd like some suggestions on places to visit etc.

All the terminals are so well connected that it is no problem at all. In fact, depending on which gate your flight arrives at in T3 and which gate it leaves from at T2, the T3 to T2 transfer might be quicker than a T3 to T3 transfer. It is all well sign posted, and you don't pass any security until you are at your gate. SIN is definitely one of the easiest and most convenient places to transit.

I highly reccomend dining with a good view on the top of the Marina Bay Sands. We went to the bar on the top of tower one and ate and had a few drinks and it was less than 200 bucks!
