There have been many dismal threads about the vanishing need for a livery and I wanted to look on the bright side of that topic. What are some of your favorite airline liveries. I will start the list of with my personal favorite, the final PSA scheme. The bright colors and cheat line are just classic along with a unique smilie face. Thank you for your contribution.

Sorry to disagree with you, but of all the UA liveries, I think that was the worst of them all. Ugly Stephen Wolf gray, etc.
Personally, I think the one after this was their best.
As for my all-time fav, I liked PSA's of early 80's. That along with AirCal's made for a very colorful lineup at some airports.
My favorite logo has to have been both Gem State Airlines and Mountain West Airlines from 1979.

Tough choice. I can narrow it down to a top five.
In no particular order:
- Final BOAC scheme (Especially on a VC-10)
- British Airways Negus scheme 1970s-1984
- British Airways Landor scheme 1984-1997
- South African Airways scheme through the 1970s (Looked good on a B747SP)
- Cathay Pacific scheme until the 1990s
