I am looking to fly out of CLE in early June, and doing a "surrounding airport" search, PIT comes up at $208 vs CLE 's $385 (this is direct). I've never driven to PIT before, with tolls, gas and parking, would it still be better to fly out of PIT vs direct to CLE?

I've done it in the reverse direction once or twice. It's 125 miles each way, roughly, and extended term parking is $8/day at PIT. (You can probably get cheaper off-airport if you want to.) So parking and car travel will cost you somewhere on the order of $125-ish depending on how you want to calculate the mileage. Add in the inconvenience and it would probably be a toss-up for me.
