I am organising a very special day out at Dallas Love Field with several flights on-board Business Jet Access's Beautiful executive 1-11 N999BW.
The 30 minute flights will be taking place on Sunday 20th October 2013 and cost $220 if we can sell it to 120 enthusiasts. (Four flights with 30 pax on each.)
I would be very grateful if you would spread the word please.
If anyone is interested they can contact me or hold off for a few days when it will be officially launched by Classic Jet Tours and Ian Allan Aviation Tours.

Very little, if at all. That's why I was so surprised that these flights were offered, I enquired about the availability of the aircraft for a filming project over a year ago and was told it was grounded due to spares and other costs (fuel). I am 99% sure it hasn't flown since that conversation. The 2011 charter was almost the end of the road. I suspect the Oct 2013 flights were never really discussed with the aircraft owners.
Btw an aircraft that has been stored without flying for more than a certain amount of time (I think six months) requires a mandatory C check which can take a few thousand man hours to complete. This isn't necessarily a factor if you're reactivating a 747-400 for British Airways because it's going to fly 18h a day and gross £400,000 a day in revenue - the cost of the heavy check is recouped within the first few days of service. An old exec jet that isn't profitable and will sit for weeks and months, different story. So the need for a heavy check is a deal breaker here even if everything else was positive.
One more thing - the biggest users of this jet in recent years was Carlos Santana and band, and George W Bush and family. I could smell incense and sulpher during my flight in 2011.

N999BW's most recent flight was September 19, 2013 for crew currency. Airframe time is 10162.6 hrs. At the 2011 flight the time was 10132.5, so its flown just 30.1 hrs in the last 2 years. Apparently there's a bit of a disconnect between the aircraft owner and Business Jet Access who manages/operates it as BJA happily quoted the flight and had a signed contract from the tour organizers before realizing the aircraft serviceability status. The aircraft continues to be offered for sale.
