I'm booked on a DL B753 from DTW-SFO end of June. I've selected seat 14A which is an emergency exit row. I've tried searching for DL/NW 753 cabin views but there is only one photo in the database and it doesn't really show the location of windows etc.

Can someone tell me, does 14A have a window that's easily looked out off and if possible a picture of the seat/window?

Thanks

I actually just sat in 14A on a DL 753 last week (on ATL-FLL). Yes, it's got a window you can look out of. I don't have pictures though.

Excellent, thank you. Presume its a normal size window?

Yep, it's a normal window.

As a side note, I was surprised DL let me select that seat for no additional charge. I've got no status on DL, hadn't paid for Economy Comfort, and in fact was flying on an award ticket. I'd always thought the exit rows were typically reserved for elites or were at least considered part of the Economy Comfort section, requiring additional payment to reserve them.

14A (like 19F in the 752 and 75V) are right by the large main cabin door and the slide protrudes into the leg space, making it a less than desirable seat, hence the fact that it's often assignable at no charge to any pax. In the 757-300, 14A is offset a bit and it's not as bad, but during boarding it's terrible as you pretty much are in the way of the boarding door if people are embarking through the L2 door.
