The best seats are as stated above, 3 is about the best, but also 5 is good (Always get shoved here non-reving). Note, if you do get stuck in 5, make sure the crew clean their crap out from behind your seat, or it wil not recline properly. Just be aware the PTV is a bit dicey...

Keesje, why do you say 1A and B are to be avoided? I recently sat in 1A for many hours on KLM 767s (EWR-AMS-JRO, and DAR-AMS), and found it very comfortable. It's much more spacious than elsewhere in the cabin because there are no seats in front (it's easy to get out from the window seat even with the aisle seat reclined with tray table out), and with the wall to the right, it feels like a small private cabin. It was very quiet--there was no disturbing noise or light from the galley--and the F/As were very attentive since they passed me every time they came out from the galley. And except for takeoff, you can leave your carry-on baggage on the floor in front of you at the bulkhead. So, my vote would be for 1A or B, especially if you like being near a window.
I would agree with Acvitale about the 777 being preferable to the 767--the 777's electronic seats are great and the AVOD entertainment system is truly state-of-the-art--but the 767 is still decent enough. Even though the seats do not recline quite as much as on the 777, I thought they were very well designed and quite conducive to sleep on the long overnight flights.
Finally, as for service, the F/As range from very friendly to somewhat aloof--I find KLM is really hit or miss, even in WBC. I liked the wine selection (nice Port in particular), but the food was disappointing for business class. None of the meals were exceptional, and some were barely edible. Thankfully the desserts (ice cream) were pretty good, otherwise I would've been hungry on those long flights!

Hardiwv,
My personal favorite seat on KL's 763's is 2G. Great bulkhead, otherwise 1A is not a bad option either. If you want to know what service is like on KL's 763, I have numerous trip reports on them in the trip report section.
COEWR2587, BusinessFirst or economy, both are better than KL IMO.
In my opinion CO can only dream of offering service like KL. KLM's flight attendants beat CO's hands down in Business or Economy. I for one would take KLM over CO anyday! Its not always the fancy gadgets that make the flight a sepcial one, it is the human touch.
