I am going to Mexico from Europe. My travel agent proposed me LH, BA or KL.
I am interested in your opinion: Which of them has the best TransAtlantic
service? The prices are aproximatelly the same.
Any sugestions about the seat and (in case of LH) what to do in FRA for about 23 houres are welcome.

If you can't reach Madrid from Tallin, go via CDG with Air France.
Between LH,BA or KL, I prefer BA.
Hope this help!! and, enjoy Mexico, it's a really beautiful country ... ¡te encantará, cuate!

Hi, I have been to Mexico City out of LHR with BA. Had an excellent flight, excellent food and service. Can't comment on the other 2 as I didn't fly with them but BA (flying a 744) gets my vote. Enjoy your trip and the heat!

Hey Traveler 7,
I recommend you flying KLM via AMS. AMS is a beautiful airport (probably the best European for transit), you can enjoy doing whatever you want (shopping, relaxing, plain-spotting, etc).
KLM is a very good airline (don´t expect much on the intra-european flight). But from AMS to MEX is a beautiful flight. You fly a 744, nice and friendly cabin crew (blondes!), good food, very large range of beverages, good movie selection and always something extra you don´t expect.
It´s always a joy flying KLM.
Try it out.
Please communicate your final decition for us to know what you choose.
Have a nice flight and stay in Mexico (I lived there 3 years, very nice country).
Regards,
Adam Bechny

That´s me again:
I just wanted to say to you, try to avoid CDG. Tha airport is awful, there´s nothing to do, you have to take a bus from terminal to terminal, almost no shops and it´s kind of dirty. Also, the ceiling can fall into your head (just joking).
AMS is the perfect airport for transit. It´s a one terminal layout, so don´t have to take any bus, the airport lookes friendly, there are a lot of shops (cheap ones!) and many relaxation areas.
As for the airline, I think KLM and Air France are pretty equal in terms of service, but KLM has something (I don´t know what it is) that you just love!!!
Can´t have an opinion on LH or FRA, cause I never flyed LH and never been to FRA.
Well, I hope this will help you.

Adam Bechny

Traveler,
I don`t think there will be that much of a difference between those three. I did lots of LH trips across the pond. I had no bad experiences so far and pretty nice flights. I don`t know about BA(LHR) and KLM(AMS) becuase I never chose them.
I would choose the one with the schedule that fits best.

I'd fly BA if I were you - I know LHR is not the best airport to transit through, especially if you're switching from 1,2,3 to Terminal 4
However - BA intercontinental is really quite good! You'll be on a 744, good food, good seats, the IFE is pretty decent (PTV) - service is good etc etc
