I'm going to Bangladesh next month, and of course I'm flying on the mighty McDonnell Douglas DC-10! (Four times actually, since they are making a stopover at Chittagong on the way to Dhaka) And perhaps the A310 as well.
I'd like to take the train from Dhaka to Chittagong and return.
There is one MAJOR obstackle in my way though, see I'm trying to register an account at Bangladesh Railways online site https://www.esheba.cnsbd.com/
However, upon registering I get this error code: CELLPHONE NUMBER VALIDATION FAILED
Can someone please help me? I have no idea of why they can't validate my number? Surely they don't expect me to have a Bangladeshi phone number?
Plan B would be to purchase the tickets through a 3rd. party travel agent or at the train station.
Well I'll just purchase them at the station, and if that means having to spend 15 hours in a cozy train, on hard wooden benches with locals cooking chickens over an open fire in the aisle; Then thats just the way it's going to be!
In Vietnam I took the train from Hué to Hanoi, 14 hours on 3rd. class wooden benches, ouch!
Ps. I just purchased a ticket with Biman on their A310! I'm ever so excited!
Here is my Aircraft list:
1x SK 737-600
2x QR A330-300
2x QR A320
4x BG DC10
1x BG A310
Plus I'm flying 2x 737-300 to Egypt the week before, thats 12 flights in three weeks!
