Just looking at flight radar and appears BAW 183 LHR-JFKhas just made a u turn over the Atlantic and descended FL200. Anyone know what's going on?

Im watching the same flight, staying at FL200 we can rule out pressurisation problems

Guessing MX problems, if medical im sure it would of dropped into Cardiff or somewhere closer thats able to take a 747-400, im guessing it will be dumping fuel too to get weight down for landing

It looked perfectly normal, last arrival on 27R of the day, parked on 546.

Why? BA have six B744 size hangars at the Number One base and one in the Cathedral Hangar. The main BA maintenance facility is Heathrow not Cardiff.
