Could some pls advise the date and route for the last time that BA operated these birds out of Gatwick?
Remember taking a 747 to MCO with BA to MCO but not the year.
TIA,

The last commercial DC10 flight out of Gatwick was on 27 March 1999. it was supposed to be a JFK flight but I was crew on the Baku flight that day (also on a DC10) and we were delayed and actually departed after the JFK flight so I was on the last one.
I believe there were a couple of special retirement flights after this but I don't think these were made available to fare paying passengers.
