Hey

Does anyone know what aircraft AC are using to DUB at present. I know its a 763 but I was under the impression that it was one of the older layouts with no PTVs. However, when I put the route into the IFE section of AC.com, it comes back with a range of movies and TV programs. Is it one of the new AC Rouge planes?

Thanks

I am aware of this trip report but it doesn't answer my question. This A/C is not scheduled on the DUB route so will I get the scheduled one with no PTVs or has the Rouge planes been subbed in for the summer?

Quoting Eirules (Reply 2):

Don't think so since Rouge has launched operations on Juy 1st, ie. after the trip report published. However here's what can be read on AC B763ER fleet page:

Quote:
Please note: New cabin interior - featuring personal touch-screen TVs or lie-flat Executive First Suites - is not available on one B767-300 (763) aircraft that operates flights between Canada and Dublin (DUB), Ireland.

Under entertainment of layout 4, you can read the following: Overhead Video, 9 channels of audio

http://www.aircanada.com/en/about/fleet/b767-300erxm.html

It could be C-GHPD since it flew on that route the last several days.

AC's schedules for the next few weeks shows a 2-class (J/Y) 763 with flat-bed seats in J operating YYZ-DUB-YYZ once a week (Thursday eastbound, Friday westbound). The other 6 days shows only Y class available with 240 seats for sale.
