I am going to Disney World in a couple of months and am wondering if you can visit the now-defunct Epcot field.

There actually is an old airport at Disney World:

There was a airfield at Epcot used for ultralights that were used in some shows there, but it was built over years ago:

Remember Walt's first vision for Epcot was an actual community, Experimental Prototype Community Of Tomorrow. I wonder if this was the original airport he had planned for EPCOT. Anyway seems like its closed to the public. Not sure how close you will get until Mickey Police comes your way.

It's now covered by hotel rooms, a pool and parking lots at the Art of Animation resort. No visible sign of it's former life.

The STOLport by the Transportation and Ticket Center can easily be seen from the EPCOT monorail line and is often a staging area for various buses.
