The first week of my Christmas holidays, I'm going to Seattle to rescue my Skymiles. (Otherwise they'd expire at the end of this year since I haven't accrued miles since 2001.) My routing is JAN-MEM-DTW-SEA on December 11 and SEA-MSP-DTW-JAN on December 16. (I've never flown Northwest or been to Memphis, Detroit, or Minneapolis airports. I chose Northwest because I wanted a DC-9 flight before they were gone.)
Originally it was just going to be a day trip there and back, but since Seattle has the Museum of Flight and the Boeing plants, I couldn't resist staying a while...

I'm driving, flying is too expensive for me
Seriously, I would have to drive about 2 hours to Toronto, pay long-term parking fees, fly to Fredericton & then rent a car there (since there's only about 2 cities in this whole f***ing country with a decent mass-transit system). So, while I would like to fly YYZ-YFC, it doesn't work for me after everything is tallied up. I'm sure I'm not the only one.

Not during X-mas, but during Thanksgiving holyday I will drive from Tallahassee via I-10, I-75, FL Turnpike to Miami, then fly Miami-Roatan-Miami on Grupo Taca and then fly back from FLL to ATL on 763 (yay!) and then ATL to TLH on 738 (double yay!), both DL, so I won't have to get on a cramped RJ.

On the 26th i'm flying OKC - JAN on NW via MEM. Having a family member pick me up there. Then on new years eve I'm flying WN from BHM to MSY, staying in MSY til monday, and flying MSY - OKC on WN via DAL. This will be my first trip on NW, my first trip on WN, and my first time on a DC-9. Looking forward too it.

I'm going to Italia with the family to see some of the Italian relatives for the first time, then bumming around Europe for a week alone.
I'm not really sure what I'm going to do that week, I was thinking about going to Belgium for the 60th anniversary of the Battle of the Buldge and then making my way to Prague with stops in Germany. Any European A.netters out there have suggestions for me?

Likely on DL via CVG since I still haven't been through that airport (Scheduled through twice, but rerouted through ATL each time) and also to build up my skymiles balance. Other likely routing may be US through CLT.
