Yesterday I flew on QR 940 from DOH to SIN and upon landing, after the usual "Welcome to Singapore... etc" the FA followed with "In Singapore, the Qatar Airways hotel is the Raffles Hotel."
What did they mean by this? I remember up until a few months ago at least, I used to see the QR crews staying at the Holiday Inn Atrium, and I would imagine QR would not pay for the Raffles. Were they just endorsing the Raffles?
Didn't hear this in Paris, Milan, or JFK before. In Doha they do mention the Oryx Rotana hotel, but that's for pax with transit times of 8hrs or longer, for whom Qatar puts them up for free.

Multiple times in United First to Las Vegas they have given out packages from the Cosmopolitan hotel that includes some small vouchers/coupons, mints, and information about the property. They did not make any announcements regarding this, but I assume there is some sort of promotional agreement between the two parties.
