Afternoon everyone!

Just saw this on Flightradar http://www.flightradar24.com/DLH342 and Flightaware http://flightaware.com/live/flight/DLH342
Anyone knows whats up? Charter? If so, why Acapulco? Seems so rare to me.

Thanks in advance!

Ha. I actually saw LH342 fly over Killeen, Texas earlier today. Got on FR24, and was also confused as to why it was flying to Acapulco! I actually came on here to post the same question.

Charter? If so, why Acapulco?

On January 15th 2014 the German cruise ship MS AMADEA arrived in Acapulco; so pretty sure it was a charter flight. But no idea why it is flying back via Toronto (maybe fuel stop?)...

Interesting! thanks for the information Debonair, no idea that a German cruise ship was in Acapulco, this must me great news for tourism!

I don't believe it's a fuel stop it made a direct flight from FRA flying against the winds, I'm sure it could make it back to FRA without the stop.

Greetings!

I seem to recall a few similar threads in previous years covering LH charters to ACA in conjunction with a cruise ship.
