For some reason I find the Dc-10 and Md-11 both classic birds. I hope other in a.net do also and was wondering what everyone's favorite pictures are in the database?

Cool topic, it's my favorite bird too. Varig and Eva generally tend to be photogenic, but they have plenty of competition.

But what makes this picture special to me, is that the photographer was standing on the wing when taken the picture! Rare angel and really showing the size of the plane - it's huge  Wow!

If I could just adopt a plane (or 3) to save it/them from the fate of recycling. I would be getting some sun on one of the wings next summer  Smile

If choosing between flying DC-10's, this is great:

As you know AMS is overcrowded with DC10's and MD-11's.
Northwest, KLM, Korean, Martinair, DAS Air Cargo, Varig, and sometimes VarigLog, MyTravel, GeminiAirCargo... they all operate here.

A fw examples...
