Me personally, my aviation loves come down to the following

-IAH (as my home and favorite airport to start)
-ATL (as my favorite connecting airport)
-DL (favorite to fly)
-752 (favorite aircraft to fly)

What are your favorite things when flying (and my list doesn't have to limit your ideas)

Live with no regrets, but don't be an idiot. -Sevadus

ISP-original home airport
MYR/CHS-frequently used new home airports
B6-favorite airline
US Airways-second favorite and second-most frequently flown. Plus they take a lot of crap even though I've had far worse experiences on other airlines.
E-190- favorite aircraft
CLT-Favorite place to connect.

Against popular belief, my username has nothing to do with the airline. \______(---)______/

BDL-Home airport

MSP-Something like 60% of my flights either start or end at MSP.

BOS-Actually hate the airport itself. But that's where the bug bit me. Smile every time I see it.

DL-Folks are Diamond and Gold. Overwhelming majority of my flying is on DL. Usually around 90% in any given year. I was a NW fanboy, but have gotten over the merger and DL is king.

777-Just a stunner of an aircraft in my opinion. No flights thus far, but hope to in the near future.

Cessna 172-Strange as it is so common. But I just love that airplane. Got my license in it, getting my instrument in it now. Just a great aircraft to fly IMO. How much do I love it? I named my dog Cessna.

All of the opinions stated above are mine and do not represent Airliners.net or my employer unless otherwise stated.

Im a huge fan of boeing due to their (McDonnell Douglas) involvement in military aviation. Of course now I'm more interested in civil aviation but a while back, all the aircraft I knew were military aircraft.

- Genuine Premium Economy. Not Space plus. Esp TK,CX
- 4 abreast J Class. Doesn't matter the SQ or NZ or CX or BA style. 2-3-2 doesn't cut it any more
- NH longhaul 787. The first but still the best version. NH in general is the best airline in the world for Y class that I have experienced.
- Any airline that isn't QR/EK/EY affiliated.
- Star Alliance. Too many carriers probably - but I have flown many of the airlines in the Alliance and I do like the accessibility of perks around the world.. Still need SK/TP/A3/TG/LO/OZ to complete the set.
- MDD/Douglas. I just go mad for them when I see them.

Airline: DL
Airport: BDL: hometown airport growing up, living in NYC it's impossible to be a JFK/LGA 'fanboy'
Airframe OEM: Boeing/McDonnell Douglas
Commercial A/C Long-Haul: B767-400ER: know this a/c has gotten a bad rap on the site, but B777 like experience with 2-3-2 config in Y, tough to beat
Commercial A/C Medium-Haul: B757-200: true workhorse, love the t/o when she's lightly loaded in the winter
Commercial A/C Short-Haul: MD-88/MD-90: 3-2 seating, rear mounted engines, solid Y experience
Personal A/C: Pilatus PC-12: My dream personal a/c, would settle for a Mooney or Cirrus

I don't do fanboyism and I don't do loyalty to commercial enterprises other than my own employer. Although the 744 is my favorite plane just because it's so darned gorgeous.

Lately, I've been happy with:

As in all of these things have been doing well (Airbus has been doing well with their A350 program as far as running it [mostly] on schedule, DL has been doing a great job at being an airline, and DTW went from an armpit to a world-class airport).

When they all start to go pear-shaped, I'll no longer be a fan.

You should visit Germany some time. The "fun" starts right when you try to find the right ticket.

Although I don't have favorites in particular, there are some places/airlines where I get a warm feeling.

BOS - the airport of the city I grew up in
EDI - where I live (for another month).
AA - the airline that I traveled most with in my childhood.

I'm a fanboy of aviation, and anything to do with aircraft.   If I was a fanboy to any one airport, airline, alliance, or cabin I would be mighty bored.

I will say, however, that I make any effort possible to fly up front. Even if "upfront" is something like Big Front Seat on NK, or Even More Space on B6. Even F class prices on US Legacies seem to be dropping, for example, FLL-ATL-BOS-ATL-FLL on the same day can be had for as little as $483 in Delta First Class on certain Tuesdays.

Non-legally notarized endorsements such as "Views posted are only my own" do nothing to protect your employment.

Not when it comes to aviation, I love all aspects of it.

I do however have a strong interest and support growth at my local airport and home for the last 9 years YVR. Also my old hometown airport LTN.

I am a big fan of bizjets, especially exotically registered ones and ones with Spey's or turbojets!

No favorite airline or aircraft manufacturer, though as a resident Canadian I wish to see Bombardier do well.

When it comes to sport however, absolutely - West Ham United and Vancouver Canucks. And I will always support the England football team for some reason... and of course Canada when we play hockey.

Ford trucks.... dont argue about GM or Dodge. Had some guy on about the merits of a Nissan Titan the other day!!

Then of course there are The Beatles. And Katy Perry (ok, jks... as long as she doesnt sing or talk). I would also say I am a fan of Jennifer Aniston and Shania Twain.
