Regarding the aircraft, it's probably a substitution. The flight is explainable. July 4th's AC882 left CPH at 13:54 with a different type of aircraft than the day before, thus July 5th's AC883 became today's flight AC2083.
It arrives all the time (I'm willingly exaggerating it ) on the YUL-GVA-YUL route. No later than yesterday, AC834 got cancelled and only left YUL today twelve hours later as AC2034.

I am not sure what's going on with the A330s lately ... a string of bad luck with maintenance delays. Both CPH and GVA are scheduled as A330s, and yes ... there was a Triple sub for the CPH A330 cancellation.
I do know that with the B787 delivery delays, everything else is running at near max utilisation and there is little room to catch up for these maintenance delays.
