I was looking out my window, and was shock to see an Air Canada A330-300 coming in to land on runway 24. I look the flight up on Flightaware, and I believe it is a sub on ACs YYZ-LAX route. If you want to see it, the a/c is at LA right now.

Since the 1st July quite a lot of the aircraft operating AC789 YYZ-LAX have been A330-300s.
Today's was C-GHKW which also operated the flights on 3rd and 4th July. A330s C-GFAF and C-GFAH have also operated the LAX flight in July along with three days of 767 operation.

Its summer time. This is not uncommon for SFO/LAX and many other destinations to have a larger aircraft subbed on a segment for extra lift. At SFO, I have never scene a 777/A330, but 767's are a common occurrence.
