Hi folks,

so, either I can't use the search function properly (thats probably it) or...

Can anyone shed some light on how much time to plan @DFW for transfer from LHs afternoon arrival to AAs departures to either LAX or LAS?
I am looking into two hours, but would also take three, if you folks recommend so.

Thanks in advance,

Give yourself 3 hours to account for weather issues, immigration,
Customs and re-entering thru security. Once you are back inside
Terminal D (re-enter security at this terminal) you should have
plenty of time for a nice meal at D and some plane spotting. In
addition you might have to transfer to Terminals A or C.

Well, LH arrivals are in Terminal D, and AA departures occur in Terminals A, C, and D. You'll be able to easily use the Skytrain to transfer between terminals.

I would say an hour and a half at the minimum, just in case customs/immigration take a while. The transfer between terminals will take you 15-20 minutes at the most.

Now DFW has APC for ESTA countries so if you already been to states before, then you can use Automated Passport Control (and if you have German(?) passport), so the immigration wait time may not be 90 mins as before.
