im taking a 763 from DEN-SFO in a few weeks. It's on a monday night too so i bet the flight is gonna be empty. I'm hoping they won't swap it out Last year my friends went MLI-ORD-DEN-PHX, and they were supposed to get a 777 from DEN-ORD on the way back but they got a plane change...to a 737. what shitty luck.

I remember a while back that United was flying 744's between LAX and Chicago-ORD. Don't know if they still do. I could probably go look it up on their web site but of course, I am way too lazy for that.
It was a continuing flight from Australia. I had a friend who was visiting L.A. board at LAX and catch a connecting flight at ORD to CLT. I remember tracking the flight online and seeing it doing over 500 knots over the Midwest. That made for a short flight

I think Delta operates the most widebody domestic flights in the US, especially ATL (of course). Off the top of my head, they use 763's or 764's to ATL, CVG, SLC, DFW, JFK, LGA, MIA, MCO, TPA, PBI, FLL, HNL, SJU, LAX, SFO, & OGG. Who knows how many more destinations from Atlanta they use them to. Not sure how many flights are using 762's, but there has to be many of them flying around. I believe they still use 772's to MCO from ATL if I'm not mistaken. No way can the other majors beat Delta with that lineup.

On the Denver scene. . .
LUV4JFK: You can go ahead and add in DEN to that list. We get DL 763s and 762s from SLC and ATL, and even sometimes CIN. Before the DL L1011 retirement, we got those too.
From UA currently, their domestic routes bring us 744s, 777s and 763s from SEA, SFO, LAX, ORD, IAD.
Domestic widebody service is definately decreasing because of increased frquencies, but may make a return over time due to too many frequencies, therefore a need for larger a/c to do the job of two or three.

DL flies all three versions of the 767 into SEA although the -400 seems
to have been taken out of the ATL-SEA market for the fall and winter.
It was cool to be on a DL domestic config 763 from ATL-SEA last month
with only 100 in Y. Lots of room to stretch out!
