If you were to put any aircraft in an aircraft museum, what aircraft would you put there. I would put the BAC1-11, alongside the DC10 and B737-200.

The North American XB-70 Valkyrie. There's only one. But its already in a museum, and I've had lunch under its wing.

One of a kind.

Followed closely by the SR-71/YF-12/A-12 and the C-5.

I would put the following:

The DC-3
The DC-3
The DC-3

Seriously, I consider the following passenger aircraft to be pioneers:

Boeing 247 (first cantilever-wing twin-engined airliner)
DC-3 (a classic in so many ways)
DC-4 (the basis for the Douglas propliner family)
Constellation L049 (first "high-tech" long-range propliner)
Antonov An-2 (most produced airliner)
Sud-Aviation Caravelle (first European short-range jetliner)
Vickers Viscount (first turboprop airliner)
De Havilland Comet (first production jet airliner, Western)
Tupolev Tu-104 (first production jet airliner, Eastern)
Boeing 707 (first practical long-range jetliner)
Boeing 747 (first widebody)
BAC/Sud Concorde & Tu-144 (first supersonic transports)
Airbus A300 (first of the Airbus dynasty)
Yunshuji Y-10 (first Chineese-designed and built airliner)

I would put the B707 in there, a classic aircraft of years gone by.
