Hi guys
I just bought a CDG-MIA-CDG for an unbelievable price of 370€ all taxes!
flight is AA63/62 with a 763
I never flew AA and I was wondering what to expect...of course I travel cattle class but still I experienced good service on this leg with BA or MP.
any input?

What to expect? A really long flight!
Ok, sorry couldn't resist! AA has great service in cattle car on the longer flights. Decent airplane, clean, a little more room than a domestic stint. Try to book an exit row seat if posible.

Of all the US carriers, AA definitely has the best trans-oceanic product. It would be better if you were on a 777, but CDG probably won't get those from AA for a long time (if ever).
Still, the 763 is a good aircraft, and I believe AA refurbished the interiors to make them more similar to the 777. Should be a good flight.

The B763's do not have PVT's though... so that will make for an even longer flight.

Nope, no more A/A "Room Throughout Coach" . . . now is more passengers in coach. Still - it's a transatlantic on a 76. Could have been on CO which would be better - but you'll enjoy the ride nonetheless. . . . and who cares for the price you paid, I'd almost fly DL for that price!

I flew almost 2 years Flight 62/63 of AA from MIA to CDG and the flight was great! I was in Tourist (Economy/Coach) Class, the flight attendants were very friendly and helpful.
The 763ER I flew on was in great condition and very comfortable, although no PVT's, the movie screens are quite nice.
The Dinner and Breakfast served was quite good in Economy and although Cocktails are 5 dollars, if you get a nice group of flight attendants as I did; they will make you pay for the 1st one, then give you "open bar" the rest of the flight...it was a great experience.
Bon Voyage Mon Ami!
PS. GREAT DEAL! on the air fare, you can usually get a good deal on that flight. I flew MIA-CDG on AA then connecting to AF CDG-BCN for 545.00USD, good deal as well.

AA has good serivce and you got a Great price. I only flew on AA 767 once EWR-MIA. It was a fine aircraft and your flight should be great. AA has good FAs and great pilots. Hope you have a great time in Miami too!

What to expect on AA, well rude crew, tv's that don't work and a long flight. As for "AA definitely has the best trans-oceanic product" I would say go with CO,DL,NW,UAL before I would go AA
