Should Aer Lingus Change Their Livery

Does anyone think that Aer Lingus should change their livery?

Why now? Personally I think the livery they have is fine and they would be better advised to spend such money on investing in a new long haul fleet. And now that Willie Walsh etc have indicated they are leaving I doubt it will happen in the short term

You know what might work nicely?

A KLM-style livery change. Stay with the basic colors but improve on it, like remove a line or two. Even a repainting would look good.

Some Aer Lingus planes resemble Air France planes, in terms of dirt streaks down the windows. The A330's come to mind Laugh out loud

But definetly a KLM-style repaint would be GREAT in GREEN.

EIrules- when you say invest in a new long haul fleet, do you mean more new aircraft instead of the A330 or more A330-200s and A330-300s?

Well it depends on where the management see EI's longhaul operations expanding to Aerlingus330. The A330 is a fine aircraft and in most cases it is fine for their current US routes and would be fine for almost anywhere new that they would like to go to in America. But their A330s are not the newest and they simply dont have enough of them to start anymore new long haul routes. Further, if they want to start flights to Asia then depending on where they want to fly to then the A330 may not have the range. There has been a lot of other discussions in here and in the Irish media about fleet expansion and whether the 7E7 or the A350 (???) will get the nod.

The boeing 7E7 and the Airbus A350 will be ready oin 2007-2012, could Aer Lingus wait until then to update their fleet...I think the A340 could help them scince it has a high capicity and has a long range.
