Hey Usairways16bwi! When your home base is BWI, I guess it has to be your favorite!
1. BWI
2. MIA
3. IAD
4. TPA
5. MCO
BTW Usairways16bwi, welcome to my respected users list!

5. BOS
PBI is not number 1 just because it is my home airport. It is very easy to get around inside and very easy to get to with the new I-95 ramps directly into the airport. In addition it has won several awards.

Pbiflyer, my aunt lives in Palm Beach Gardens, and we fly down there every November to visit her. I am in total agreement with you regarding the I-95 access roads - it is much easier to go right from 95 into PBI instead of having to deal with Belvedere Road.

Well, even though it is my home base, BNA should be on the list because of the extensive art programs (craft making in the terminal, live music around the airport, and of course the pieces of contemporary art all around). It was also named as one of the top 10 places to have a layover. So my list would go...
1. BNA
2. TPA
3. IAD - you either love it or hate it
4. MCO
5. ATL - Just on the sheer fascination of it's volume

1. MIA ( Had to put MIA home airport and it is just a great place. It is improving and so diverse.
2. LGA ( Not sure why I like it but easy to get around not to big and some good viewing areas)
3. FLL ( My second home airport. Easy to get around and cheap)
4. JFK. ( I love JFK at night. All the departures!)
5. ATL ( I am not a huge ATL fan or DL fan but I have not been to many airports on the east coast. And for the rest I been to ATL was the best)
Been to besides for ones above EWR,BWI,BOS.

1) ORH - Worcester, MA. When I used to live there in the early 90's I would fly out of there regularly. I could leave my home 30 minutes before departure and still make the flight. Having
2) BOS - Fascinated by the design of the airport, the runways out in the water and the fascinating approaches. Traffic jams in the tunnels and driveways just added to the experience.
3) DCA - Visual approach down the river. Enough said.
4) JFK - Great spotting, lots of variety esp. International carriers. Loved that old TWA terminal.
5) EWR - Spent a lot of time there - it almost became my second home during a few northeast snowstorms back in the 90's.
I'm a west coast resident now so I'll have to look for a "Top 5 favorite Airports on the West Coast" thread.

2. RIC
3. ORF
4. ATL (you fly FL a lot, you learn to love Hartsfield...)
5. CLT
I was pleasantly surprised to see someone else mention my home airport (PHF) as one of their top 5. It's my favorite not just because it's home, but it's also one of the most efficient, cleanest, least-run-down small airports I've ever been to. Plus, being a true neighborhood airport, it drives the NIMBYs bonkers
