Well, what is your favorite holiday/business destination, who do you fly with there, and what aircraft most of the time?
As for me, I've been all over the world so I cant really make a choice!

Tom  Big thumbs up

There's not many places I've been to that I wouldn't go back to, but I'm always happy when I step aboard one of FlyBE's BAe146's for the short flight down from LGW to GCI. Not only do I enjoy flying on 146's, but I know that I'm heading off for a few days R&R down in Guernsey. I'm never so relaxed as when I get home from a trip down there - great countryside and beaches, lovely people and such a relaxing way of life.

Ladies & gentlemen this is Captain Tobias Wilcock welcoming you aboard Coconut Airways flight 372 to Bridgetown Barb

For me it is definetely CPT , love the country, people, beaches, the sights, just everything. usually i fly there out of my homebase MUC, either thru FRA with SAA, or thru LHR connecting to VS or the whole way BA. All airlines normally in J, sometimes also Econ+.

I never take the direct flight out of MUC with LH because i dont like LH.

Planes are usually B744 or A346.

regards

I've a few favorite destinations via certain airlines but my most memorable for pleasure is HKG on a CX 747-400 from the UK. However for business its a BA 737-400 (or 500) NCL-LGW-NCL - once a week (at present).

It is CPT for me as well. I love visiting Cape Town, it is a fantastic place and I look forward to going there whenever I can!

The approach/departure over Table Mountain is spectacular.  Big thumbs up

The first two times (2002 & 2003) I flew on KLM to CPT (B747-400), but now they use the B777. This year I flew with British Airways (B747-400).

My votes would go to Vancouver for leisure and Shanghai for business. I do tend to favour Asia generally and New Zealand would also be up there- so much variety in such a small area. It's just too far away....  Sad

Cheers

I'd say probably CDG (DL 772ER ex-ATL), with either my sister, mother, or travel bud.

SAV is another good one, usually with the parents (DL 752 ex-ATL)

MIA/FLL for Worth Ave. shopping... either with sister or the wife (DL 767s ex-ATL)

definitely the Caribbean, but struggling to pick exactly where. Loved Jamaica and Antigua equally, but if we add flight options into the equation, prob Antigua as I flew First via Barbados on BA, vs Air Jamaica economy (sorry, Lovebird class!) to MBJ...

For me it has got to be Nice, the descent begins over the snow cover Alps, before crossing the coast before turning right and following the coast on final approach taking in St Tropez, Cannes skimming the water before touching on on rwy 04 then heading off into Monaco.

Flying to South Africa was a great experience but the top destinations for my holidays are :
* Greek island.
* US west coast or Chicago.

Now that the new Athens airport allow easy connections between international and domestic flights, I like to take the first AF flight in the morning and than take a OA flight to an island, most of the time on an ATR.

Prior to 9/11, I was used to fly to LAX from CDG on UA, with a connection at ORD. Now that it's very long to go thru immigration and customs, and depending on the price I may find, I fly direct from CDG on AF, thru FRA with LH or thru LHR with BA.

Flying is amazing!

Barbados

I used to take AA direct flight on a B757 during the summer and a B767 during the winter. But since CO started flying the route - it is a B737 for me now

Hawkes Bay in New Zealand. Since the airfares to Hastings/Napier airport are expensive I prefer to travel to the Hawkes Bay on Intercity/Newmans Coach Services.

I've been to Australia once only but wish SO MUCH to go back there. Sydney especially, or Perth. And I'd be flying Qantas B744 (first class, if possible  Smile )

I also never get enough of Canada. I'm planning on going there to study there if I manage to enlist on the student exchange program my university is offering. I also wouldn't mind living there (especially in Edmonton, Calgary or Vancouver).

I really enjoy traveling to SJD- Cabo San Lucas, Mexico and LHR- London, England. I think London is an amazing city, and I enjoy taking a long international flight. The beaches of Mexico are so relaxing, plus I can use some Spanish, which is always fun. I can't forget Spain- Barcelona and Tarragona where I spent three weeks last summer on living with a host family and attending a local school to improve my Spanish. Swimming in the Mediterranean was so fun and wandering the small town with friends.
