If you have enjoyed aviation photography this year, and want to show your stuff, this is the place! Seems we had a very nice start on this thread but it is gone... so here is version 2.0!
Feel free to plug away! Let's see your most popular, personal favorite, and most underrated photo from 2004! Also include any milestones you may have had over the year!

I'll go ahead and start it off -
This year I got my Canon Digital Rebel - and it greatly increased my abilities and acceptance ratio. Here are my 3 plugs:
In total, I had 282 photos added (for a total of 324), and now have over 205,000 hits!
Thanks to everyone who has helped me this year: Charles Juszczak, Steve Kempf, Florian Trojer, Tim Samples, Chad Thomas, Sven De Bevere, Jin Nakashima (Jean), Eric, Sebastian, Konstantin, Sam ... the list goes on and on. Thanks for your help everyone!

Why was the other one deleted?
I started in May, got 300 pics added, I guess that's ok for some one who lives two hours away from an airport that sees anything larger than a Lear. I used my old Kodak CX6330 (3.1MPs, 3X optical) up until Sept and now have a Kodak DX7590. I managed to get three photos in the top four of the day, only one of whiched desereved to be there.
I'll have to thank Brian Futterman and Dale Coleman, although they never really helped me directly, they're the reason I started started taking the camera with me when I fly. And Chris Ryan is responsable for editing two of my most popular shots.

Well, I got my Canon 300D in February. I've gotten 14 photos accepted this year. And just the other day, one of my shots was put on the news reel and was the 3rd most popular shot of the day.
My personal favorite for this year is also one of my least popular shots.
2005 will hopefully be a good year. I just bought a Canon EF 70-200mm f/4L USM lens, which is incredibly sharp and I'm already very pleased with it. My goal for 2005 is to have a total of 50 shots in the DB by the year's end.
Currently, my favourite shot is this.AF's flights are in the evening but this shot was taken in the morning, Morning light in T1 is absolutely fantastic that day, this is the result.

I think I can see why this thread was deleted and it stems from this obsession with statistics! I did not suggest deletion the other day but I did consider it. Long strings of my best, underrated etc are there for all to see....called the database.
Why the self plugging and what does it matter how many people view your pictures ?
If one person has enjoyed one of yours, that is great.
For this thread to be meaningful, let it continue but with the proviso that you cannot suggest any of your own photos - no self plugging !
My favourite would then be a night shot of a Tu.154 at LUX, underrated, best, photographer, whatever....I don't know the answers.
But I can see it in my minds eye, the most memorable of the year to me, and could find it if I wanted to on........the database
