Hi!
Well my girlfriend is going to Paris on the 8th of January, and I want to surprise her with a visit on valentines day.
But no way I'm going with the TGV to Paris . Indeed I want to fly.
Can somebody give me the cheapest fare from AMS to CDG? I want to go a few days around the 14th (including that date of course).
It doesn't matter if I need to fly to BCN first en then on the CDG, if that's the cheapest option, it's fine!
BTW: from CDG airport to the center of Paris.. Easy by tube??
Thanks a lot!!
Frederik

Hi there...
For a cheappie check anyway.com. They do marvels...
To get from CDG to the city centre you can take the RER B train. The direct ones take under 30 mins. I usually take the Air France buses (taking you from any CDG terminals to the Arc de Triomphe)
Hope that's helpful
Next flights: AF ORY-TLN-ORY; CDG-BOD-CDG; KL CDG-AMS-ADD-AMS-CDG; AF CDG-ATL; DL ATL-MSY-ATL; AF ATL-CDG

The Cheapest airline ticket would be with RG (Varig), starting from EUR70.00 plus tax.
Also another option would be taking the Thalys Train, which is also very nice!, since it only takes 4 Hours from AMS, and brings you directly into Gare Du Nord station.

Whats the flight time from AMS to CDG?
I can only assume that its not much more than 45 mins? I'd rather take the Thallys actually. Why? Well...
...you'll need to be in AMS an hour (if not more) before departure. Thallys takes 4 hours. (by this time you'd be very near if not already Belguim)
...I hope its not, but should your flight be delayed ex AMS and you're sitting in the departure lounge killing time...!
...when you arrive in CDG you'll have to wait for luggage (should you have some). I know it doesn't take forever to retrieve your bags but should something get lost etc...!
...Getting into Paris from CDG.
I'd take the Thallys straight into Paris' stations but hey, It's up to you.
