Sex In The Lavatory

NOTICE: My topic contains reference to sexual aspects. If you are offended by such content, please don’t read any further.

A while back, I was watching Discovery Wings and there was a programme regarding people having sex onboard an aircraft. And how it’s today’s trend to have sex in the lavatory. It featured many ex flight crew/cabin crew sharing their stories about what they had seen. They also talked about how a British gay couple had sex in the lavatory onboard an American Airlines flight, and that the cabin crew had suspected terrorist in the lavatory. Apparently the pilots requested an escort and diverted. - Was rather funny lol.

At the end of the programme, I got the impression that it is a regular thing that happens on a daily basis. Now whenever I go into an aircraft lavatory I feel somewhat uncomfortable by the thought that people may have had sex in there.

My question is, have any of you ever witnessed/heard of anything like this onboard an aircraft?

- RichM

I personally have not seen anything happen in the lavatory. I have however seen many things going on underneath blankets on all-night flights when the cabin is dark and most everyone is sleeping. I wouldn't let the sex-in-the-lav thing make you uncomfortable, what goes on in the lav with it's designed purpose should make you uncomfortable enough  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

I've heard stories about sex on airplanes. Being that I fly most often on MD-80s, I think someone would have to be a contortionist to do it in the lav.

exactly!!! I have to decide which function I need to accomplish in the lavs before I enter... either back in or go forward... the lavs are very small for any decent sized person... to get the mile high club you must be very flexible eh??

Didn't we just have a thread about FA's reaction to "the mile high club"? I'm too lazy to search for it, though. If anyone else wants to link it, go ahead.

Hi all.

Long time lurker, finally joined, and first time poster.

"Now whenever I go into an aircraft lavatory I feel somewhat uncomfortable by the thought that people may have had sex in there."

Just out of curiosity, Rich, are you uncomfortable when you go into a changing / dressing room at a department store, or when you go to a gym, or sit on a bench at a park, or maybe even use the loo at any given public place? Some people have a want / desire / need to perform exhibitionist acts. I'm sure that there's been places where people have had sex where you would think it's impossible... but you've been there. Any public or semi-public place that you've been has been subjected to the prospect of people having relations. A football game? Been done. Do you now not want to go see a sporting event?

If the concept is that disturbing to you, perhaps you may wish to stay home in the future.

It's odd that you mention this making you uncomfortable, as most of the public sex that I've accidentally interrupted has been in the UK (Scotland, specifically), and the Netherlands.

Now if children not of age were to witness the event leaving a parent to have to explain, that's a different story.

...and no. I'm not an exhibitionist.

Regards,

-wuk

I feel uncomfortable in the bathrooms, but that is only because they are airplane bathrooms! They are nasty, and rank up there with gas station bathrooms on the disgusto-meter. If anything, I feel bad for the poor suckers (no pun intended  Big grin) who tried to screw in one of those revolting places.

Wukka,
Wow, that was uncalled for! I would suggest that you spend some more time "lurking" because you don't have the taste to post here. What does the UK have to do with this topic anyways? Did you just not make a big enough fool of yourself so you thought that you should throw that in too?

Excuse me? How was that uncalled for? I was asking a legitimate question completely related to the topic that was posted and the observations that I've made through living life.

I just made a fool of myself? It sounds like you just might be a bit overly sensitive. I'd like to know how this was uncalled for. Actually, your reaction would be uncalled for in many forums.

I have witnessed a lady giving a guy a hand job...This flight was from SJC to LAX...I wasn't disturbed by it at all...I think its kinda funny since its only a 50 min flight and both of them couldn't keep there hands off of each other...I would have to think that it goes on all of the time...I forget what magazine I was reading...Probably FHM or Maxim, but there was an article in there talking about this same exact thing...It even showed diagrams of what positions to use...

Wukka, even though you had a good point better not to get personal on this board. People will eat you alive. And WELCOME ABOARD.

Look man. Some things happen in the world that we might not like. I was simply pointing out that if things happen in places that everyone has access to, and you, as an individual, are uncomfortable with that thought, then perhaps you need not be out in places that may cause distress. There's absolutely nothing wrong with my comment. I stand by that. Sorry if you disagree.

And RichM, I didn't mean for it to come across as anything overly personal. I was just pointing out that this stuff happens, whether it be on a park bench or an airliner lav. My apologies if it read as offensive as UAL is making out to be.

Cheers.

I never saw anybody getting it on in flight but I did at a movie theater.

I once saw this Asian guy doing the 'dirty work' under his blanket as he was looking at an Asian porn mag. This was on a flight to Singapore when the cabin lights were dimmed. The weird thing was that he appeared to be with a group of people that looked like his parents sitting next to him.

A couple joined the mile-high club in a lav aboard a LH 747-400 flight and made a three minute MPG video of the entire event to share with the world which can be downloaded from Kazaa etc.

Imagine the talent to be able to film a video during the act in this confined space!

Poor girl had to be such a contortionist she flushed the vacuum toilet with the top of her head three or four times. Good thing the toilet lid was down!  Smile

Sorry, the video is 46 MB, so cannot be linked  Sad , but the cabin view on the video before they entered the lav looked just like this:
