I will have a load of questions, but I'll start with these, I fully appreciate any participation:

  1. How often do you fly?

  2. From where to where do you fly?

  3. Purpose of your flight(s)?

  4. How long do you stay at your destination(s)?

  5. How much do you spend at your destination(s)?

I left out asking your airline preference due to thinking it would have been a bias. Thank you in advance and more to come.  Wink/being sarcastic

3 responses, hardly scientific. Well it appears that so far, ya'll travel:

  • longhaul about once a month.

  • 1.8 out of 3 says business, 1.2 out of 3 says non-business.

  • Travel within or from Europe to elsewhere (so far Africa or North America) and back.

  • looks like you'll stay for about a week at your destinations

  • I'll estimate an average of US$500 spent sometime during that time.

  • I have one last question for those of you who have responded (for those whom have not, I would like it if you tried the first 5 first):

    6) All things being equal, say the cost of the flight except the total flight time lasted no longer than 5 hours tops, how would any of those 5 first questions change? Would you travel more, spend more, stay longer?

Well I am asking for a different purpose (see question 6 in reply #6), but i'll look it up.

Also, none of you guys have to give a dollar ammount for question #5 so as long as you can tell me how question #6 can change that number.

Many thanks for replies so far.

Edit: I searched for longhaul and got three threads about a month apart that were airline/route specific.
