I am booking a flight for my girlfriend now and its $30 more for her to take CO instead of USA3000. Is USA300 any good? How are they in terms of reliability and comfort. (i'm assuming that safety is not an issue but if it is then please say something!) thank you

USA3000 has inflight movies and hot meals on all flights, I would take that anyday over CO.

Yeah, unless it cancels. Then you have no protection on a later flight or another carrier. I haven't heard anything bad about USA3000, but for $30, I'd go with the more established carrier.

The meals are not hot...

No idea what that guys talking about but saving is good. Take her out to a (hot) dinner after she lands with that extra cash.

Echoing the above, I'd pay the $30 extra to fly her on CO. Without knowing anything about USA3000, I'd say that the comfort of knowing CO's reliability is worth $30, especially if the length of her trip is relatively short.

USA 3000 is pretty good. Of course you are comparing it to CO which is the best of the legacy carriers.

I have heard only good things about USA 3000. They are owned by Apple Vacations and have an excellent reputation.

I also have only heard good things about USA3000 though the one thing to keep in mind is that they most likely do not have any agreements with the scheduled carriers so if the plane does have a mechanical you most likely will wait until it is fixed and not be placed on another carrier to get you home. Since they keep the planes busy flying also most likely there is not another plane to place into service.

If it's a "must-be-there" event (wedding, etc.), then I'd pay the extra $30 and go with CO. If not, I was happy with USA3000 when I flew on them, and co-workers have been happy with them too.

In all fairness, CO does have movies on EWR-Florida flights as well. USA3000 will probably serve a little more food, however, but in case of any problems, CO will have many more options to get you to where you need to go. USA3000 only has 1 or 2 planes at a time in EWR; CO probably has more than 40 at any given moment.
