I'm currently plat with CO, and even though other SkyTeam partners offer better FFPs re: EUA, Award Availabilty, EQM's, etc, I'll be sticking with them. Also have an Exec Club membership, but hardly use BA...mainly keep it as it's my only active OW account (All AA miles expired), and I have a BA Visa which is slowly building up my mileage balance. I don't have any *A FFP membership, though, and was wondering what would be the best program for me...my main criteria are best longhaul upgrade policy (as different from CO's as possible), best reward availability for Asia and Australia (have heard getting to Sydney in J or F on UA with a reward ticked is nigh impossible), and best reward availability for non-elite members of the FFP. Unless my yearly travel changes dramatically in the future, I won't be elite in more than one FFP each year. As a sidenote, would EK be worth considering? Their route network & service are great from what I've heard, but I don't know squat about their FFP...they're not *A, but have connecting service from the UK to many destinations I'd like to visit.
