Hi guys, I was fooling around with the greater circle mapper and have logged all of my legs flown (luckily I remember all trips!!) and have come out to have flown a total of 170,084miles (272,134km). I was curious if you guys just wanted to throw around your numbers and everyone have fun with this...

wow - thanks for the great URL! I have all my flights logged as well, but never looked for the miles. I will do that - will take me a while though - it;s been 280 segments so far

IF you mean, like since I was born, I can't begin to count them all. In just the last 10 years, over 1.5 million. Extrapolating that, over my lifetime, I'd say easily 3 million (most of my travel has been in the last 10 years).
I have every boarding pass I every had issued - I suppose I could spent the weeks to marry them all up, put them into the circle mapper and give a much more accurate count - it just isn't that important.

248,652mi with United, and probably about 100,000 more on top of that. I haven't logged trips, so that is a guess on the non UA flights.
If you have never designed an airplane part before, let the real designers do the work!

I have over 24,000 miles(Since August of 2000) with AA and soon to be 29,000 after my Orlando trip this May. But in my life time it's got to be at least 100,000 miles.

Starting this sunday until August, I will travel 30,313 miles on AS, HP, F9, BA, Horizon, AA, and CO. That will be the most I have traveled in a year, not to mention that I will add more in the fall. I can't remember all my flights, but I'd say over 100,000, maybe 150,000 miles. When I have time, I might try to get a bare minimum of the flights I remember.

So I calculated the mileage of all my flights that I could sort of remember. I came up with 80 legs totalling 84,356 miles. That could go up to somewhere near 90,000 miles, but I can't remember how many times I have gone to DEN when I was little. I've got 30,313 miles coming up through August, including 21 legs. That'll bring me to a grand minimum total of 114,669 miles on 101 legs. PDX-DEN is my most traveled flight by far. Over 12 legs each way.
Some stats:
Avg miles per leg: 1,135
Avg miles per year: 6,745
Avg legs per year: 6

904,495 miles (1,455,604 kilometers) in 729 flights. Some very short hops could not be calculated though.
